I used to create works with a predefined concept, where I identify an area of interest, expand from that interest and formulate a concept; then I research, experiment and plan the execution. I wanted to change and explore for unexpected outcomes, so I tried to free myself from the original idea and to gave a bit of time to explore and investigate.
With this approach, I feel a bit lost. So I tried to do something to clear my mind.
First, I summarised what had been done – from the beginning, research, studies, ideas… It gave me time to think through and see the flow.
Then, I tried to explore with a mindmap, not a very detailed one, but it helped to visualise my interest and concerns – monologue and rumours – something to do with self and the external world.
