ARTWORK STATEMENT
A fish

In the city

Reason : unknown
Days of Swimming in the Garden is a world of physical and mental experience of being in the city. The work deterritorializes sound and images from signifying functions and figurative forms of travelling routines, and actualises a world that is to be sensed, experienced, and felt. The work explores the possibility to unfold the reality by expanding our range of senses beyond our naked perception.
INSTALLATION
The work is an exercise to construct an immersive video installation that activates audience’s senses with moving images, sound, objects, projection and space. The videos in the installation is a collection of studies to stretch the possibility of videography, from a research related to micro-narratives and expanded cinema. The investigation is focused on the relationships between sensation, affect and experience with the materialist approach of video making.
